A SUPER braiding Horse Quiet Book Page
My favorite animal in the whole wide world is horses. I want to instill the love and passion for animals in my kids’ hearts as they grow. Furthermore, I was in highschool before I learned to braid! Whaaaaaaaaat? Then I was “cool” and got to sale those cool braided bracelets. So, now I think as Kara grows older and older I should also teach her to braid. And love horses. Cool, huh?
What I did Wrong on the Horse Quiet Book Page
Well for one thing, braiding is pretty advanced for a toddler. And, strings can be a hazard. So, before you choose to use string, make sure you are with your toddler while playing, remove the page if needed during certain circumstances. Braiding is pretty advanced… way more advanced than my toddler handled. So for a bit, I added a brush to the page from a dollar store beauty set. Hey! It worked, and entertained for a period of time! 🙂
What I did Right on the Horse Quiet Book Page
Adorable, and I love it. I’m obviously no artist, and the horse body isn’t perfect. None of this is perfect. But, it works. Its cute. Its functional, and it serves the purpose I planned for it.
